The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is pleased to announce 15 openings for the position of Senior Registrar Ophthalmology in the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department. Position Details:

  • Number of Vacancies: 15
  • Reserved Positions:

Qualification Requirements:

Primary Qualification:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.
  • FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomate of the American Board in the respective specialty.
  • Equivalent medical qualification in the respective specialty from a recognized university.

Alternative Qualification:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.
  • FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, or Diplomate of the American Board in General Surgery or Medicine (relevant to the specialty).
  • Three years of post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institution.

Age Limit:

  • Male Candidates: 25 to 45 years (maximum age limit with relaxation: 52 years)
  • Female Candidates: 22 to 45 years (maximum age limit with relaxation: 55 years)
