Pakistan Railways to Reduce Fares Upto Rs. 150 from 3rd August

Pakistan Railways has announced a fare reduction across all train categories, effective August 3, reversing a recent increase in ticket prices. This new fare structure is aimed at making train travel more affordable and accessible.

Under the revised fare system, passengers will see a discount ranging from Rs100 to Rs150 on AC class tickets and Rs50 on economy class tickets. This move is intended to alleviate the financial strain on travelers and encourage greater use of train services as a budget-friendly transportation option.

The fare cut underscores Pakistan Railways’ dedication to improving public accessibility and offering cost-effective travel solutions for passengers nationwide. By lowering fares, the railway service aims to attract more passengers and boost the use of public transportation, which plays a crucial role in the country’s infrastructure.

This adjustment is expected to benefit both daily commuters and long-distance travelers, making train travel a more appealing choice for various groups across the country.
