Pakistan on Alert! Heavy Rainfall Predicted Across Pakistan From July 28 to 31

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a warning for heavy rainfall expected across Pakistan from July 28 to 31. Monsoon currents originating from the Arabian Sea are set to bring substantial rain to upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Galliyat, Murree, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, which may result in flash floods and landslides in these regions.

In coastal areas like Karachi, residents can anticipate cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle. Despite the rainfall, temperatures in Karachi are expected to soar to around 35°C, accompanied by high humidity that will create a very hot and sticky atmosphere.

Other cities including Quetta, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar will also experience rain during this period. The NDMA advises residents to prepare for potential flooding and disruptions caused by the heavy rain. Staying informed about weather updates and adhering to local authority instructions is crucial for safety.

The heavy rains are likely to cause travel delays, so planning ahead is recommended. In summary, significant rainfall is forecasted for various parts of Pakistan, and everyone should remain vigilant and prepared for the anticipated weather changes.
