Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently disclosed significant developments stemming from his recent visit to China, aimed at deepening economic ties under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). During discussions, over 70 local businesses expressed keen interest in collaborating with Chinese firms planning to relocate their industrial operations to Pakistan.
The proposed initiative outlines a comprehensive strategy to attract Chinese industries, spanning sectors such as textiles and medical equipment, thereby bolstering Pakistan’s industrial capabilities. Prime Minister Sharif underscored the strategic importance of these partnerships in fostering economic growth and job creation.
Furthermore, a novel educational initiative was introduced, aiming to send 1,000 Pakistani students to China for advanced training in agriculture. The inaugural batch is scheduled to commence their studies at the onset of the upcoming academic year, reinforcing educational cooperation between the two nations.
