SalamAir, the prominent airline based in Oman, has launched its inaugural flight from Muscat to Islamabad, marking a significant milestone in its expansion strategy. The flight, which landed at 2:55 AM, carried a full complement of 203 passengers and was met with a traditional water salute upon arrival at Islamabad Airport.
Looking ahead, SalamAir is set to broaden its footprint in Pakistan by introducing regular flights to Lahore, with a robust schedule of five flights per week. These operations will be facilitated using the Airbus A321 aircraft, renowned for its comfort and reliability, ensuring a pleasant travel experience for passengers.
The expansion initiative not only aims to enhance connectivity between Oman and Pakistan but also seeks to bolster tourism and provide increased travel options for Pakistani nationals residing in Oman.
In Islamabad, the arrival of SalamAir’s inaugural flight was marked by a warm reception led by Oman’s Ambassador and Airport Manager Aftab Gilani. Expressing his enthusiasm, Ambassador Gilani emphasized SalamAir’s commitment to expanding its network and delivering exceptional service standards.
