Mari Petroleum Company has successfully integrated new gas reserves from five wells in Sindh into Pakistan’s national gas network. This development has introduced an additional 3 million metric standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas, sourced from the Ghazij Gas Field, now being supplied to Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).
The company has completed both testing and production processes for this gas. They are now preparing to present a comprehensive development plan for the Ghazij Gas Field to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) for approval. This milestone represents a significant boost to the country’s gas supply, enhancing energy security and contributing to a more stable energy provision.
For both households and businesses dependent on a reliable energy supply, this new gas addition is crucial. It underscores Mari Petroleum Company’s dedication to meeting Pakistan’s energy needs and emphasizes the importance of ongoing investment and development in the energy sector to accommodate increasing demand.
As Pakistan looks towards the future, these advancements will play a vital role in supporting economic growth and development. The successful integration of gas from the Ghazij Gas Field is a noteworthy achievement that will benefit many across the nation.
