Lahore to Get British-Era Famous Tram Service

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz unveiled ambitious plans during her visit to the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Headquarters on Friday. Among the key announcements was the introduction of a tram service set to transform various areas of Lahore, including Liberty, Mini Market, and Hali Road.

Chairing a pivotal meeting, Maryam Nawaz directed the establishment of the Punjab Development Authority (PDA). This newly formed body is tasked with overseeing comprehensive development projects across the province.

In a bid to elevate Lahore’s appeal and infrastructure, the Chief Minister also instructed the remodeling and beautification of MM Alam Road. These initiatives underscore a broader strategy aimed at enhancing urban development and public transportation within Lahore, ultimately aiming to make the city more inviting and accessible to both residents and visitors alike.
