Karachi Records Hottest Ever Night in July

Karachi recently endured its hottest July night on record, with temperatures only dropping to 32.5°C, surpassing the previous record of 32°C earlier in the month. Additionally, July 17th marked the highest nighttime temperature ever recorded for July, breaking prior lows of 31°C set in both 2021 and 2022.

Looking ahead, the Meteorological Department anticipates relief from the heat due to coastal winds, although warm and humid conditions will persist. Today, temperatures are expected to be 2 to 4°C cooler, reaching a maximum of 37°C. There’s also a chance of rain in the city’s outskirts.
