Jazz Secures Pakistan’s Largest Private-Sector Syndicated Credit Facility of PKR 75 Billion

Jazz has achieved a significant milestone by securing Pakistan’s largest private-sector syndicated credit facility, amounting to PKR 75 billion. This substantial funding will bolster Jazz’s capabilities in enhancing its 4G network and advancing its technological infrastructure.

The signing ceremony, graced by distinguished personalities such as VEON Group CEO Kaan Terzioglu, Jazz CEO Aamir Ibrahim, and representatives from the participating banks, marks a pivotal moment for the company.

The consortium of financial institutions includes Habib Bank Limited, Bank Alfalah Limited, Meezan Bank Limited, MCB Bank Limited, Allied Bank Limited, The Bank of Punjab, Askari Bank, Habib Metropolitan Bank, Soneri Bank Limited, Bank Islami Pakistan Limited, and MCB Islamic Bank Ltd.

This 10-year financing arrangement underscores the financial community’s strong confidence in Jazz’s leadership and its commitment to driving digital innovation. The primary objective of this funding initiative is to empower Jazz in bridging the digital divide and delivering transformative digital services nationwide.
