CM Maryam Sends 10 Elderly Women from Dar ul Aman on Hajj

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab, recently orchestrated a heartwarming initiative aimed at fulfilling the long-held dream of ten elderly women from Darul Aman: performing Hajj. In a touching gesture, she underscored the significance of treating these women with the utmost respect and care, akin to mothers.

During a poignant gathering, Maryam Nawaz encouraged the women to offer prayers for Pakistan’s safety and prosperity. The presence of Nawaz Sharif himself added to the solemnity of the occasion, as he expressed his optimism for a brighter future for the less fortunate.

Accompanied by their dedicated caretaker, Sumaira Aslam, these women are set to embark on a 21-day journey to Saudi Arabia for the sacred pilgrimage.

Maryam Nawaz further emphasized the pressing need for environmental protection and announced a series of stringent measures to combat the menace of plastic pollution.

Moreover, she extended financial assistance to a thalassemia patient and allocated funds for the medical treatment of Punjabi poet Tajjamul Kaleem.
