Butchers Released Qurbani Rates for Eid-ul-Adha 2024

The Meat Merchants Association in Karachi has unveiled the anticipated rates for animal sacrifices during Eid-ul-Adha 2024, aiding individuals in planning their Qurbani arrangements. According to their announcement, the costs for sacrificial animals are as follows:

  1. Cow: Sacrificing a cow on the first day of Eid will be priced at 20,000 rupees.
  2. Goat: The rate for sacrificing a goat is set at 10,000 rupees.
  3. Camel: For those opting to sacrifice a camel, the price is established at 40,000 rupees.

Nadeem Qureshi, representing the association, clarified that rates for sacrifices on the subsequent two days of Eid are expected to be approximately half of the initial day’s prices.

Eid-ul-Adha, revered as the Festival of Sacrifice, holds significant importance in Islam, commemorating the obedience of Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of submission to God’s command. This announcement aims to facilitate the community in their preparations for this sacred occasion.
