Balochistan to Enrol Labourers’ Children in Higher Educational Institutions on Scholarship

The Balochistan government is planning to enroll about 400 children of laborers in higher educational institutions across Pakistan this year, all on scholarships. So far, the Labour and Manpower Department has registered 200 children, and they aim to register another 200 by July 15.

In a recent meeting led by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, it was decided to speed up the Youth Skills Development Program. This program aims to send both skilled and unskilled young people abroad for jobs by 2025.

Chief Minister Bugti also stressed the importance of accurately registering laborers and improving their social security and wages. The goal is to ensure that laborers and their families have better opportunities and support.

This initiative shows a strong commitment to the welfare of laborers and their children, aiming to provide them with better educational and employment opportunities.
