Flydubai has announced the launch of daily flights to Islamabad and Lahore starting July 1, 2024, marking a significant expansion of its services from Dubai International Airport (DXB). These flights, departing from Terminal 2, underscore Flydubai’s commitment to enhancing travel connections with Pakistan, a key market it has served since 2010.
Hamad Obaidalla, Flydubai’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the decision to introduce these routes in response to robust demand for travel between Dubai and Pakistan. The addition of Islamabad and Lahore to Flydubai’s network is poised to strengthen its presence in the region, complementing existing services to cities such as Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot.
Operated using Boeing 737 MAX aircraft renowned for efficiency and passenger comfort, these new daily flights promise a seamless travel experience. Sudhir Sreedharan, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, emphasized the reliability and convenience these flights will offer, catering to both leisure and business travelers seeking enhanced flexibility and connectivity.
