Saudi Arabia Announces Discovery of Seven Huge Oil & Gas Deposits

Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, has announced a series of significant discoveries by Saudi Aramco, revealing seven new deposits of oil and gas.

These discoveries span various types of reserves, including two unconventional oil fields, a light Arabian oil reservoir, and several natural gas fields located in the Eastern Province and the Empty Quarter region of Saudi Arabia.

Among the notable findings are the Ladam oil field, currently producing 5,100 barrels per day, the Al-Farouk oil field yielding 4,557 barrels per day, and the Al-Katuf gas field with a production of 7.6 million cubic feet per day.

These discoveries are expected to bolster Saudi Arabia’s already substantial energy reserves and contribute significantly to the strengthening of its energy sector.
