Pakistan Qualify For T20 World Cup 2026, Confirms ICC

Pakistan has officially qualified for the T20 World Cup 2026, confirmed by the ICC following the conclusion of the recent tournament. The event, set to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka, will feature 20 teams organized into four groups.

India and Sri Lanka gained automatic berths as host nations. Joining them are Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, the West Indies, and the United States, all securing spots based on their international rankings.

Pakistan, ranked 7th in T20 internationals, secured qualification alongside New Zealand (6th) and Ireland (11th). The remaining eight spots for the 2026 World Cup will be determined through regional qualifiers across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the East-Asia Pacific region.

This upcoming tournament promises to be a global spectacle, uniting cricket teams worldwide in pursuit of the prestigious T20 World Cup title.
